 AnnMarie Spexet, P.E. is a mentor for the EWB-Rice Nicaragua 2 group. In December of 2005, the group installed a solar-powered lighting system for a church and community center.

The group was also considering constructing a wind-turbine power generation system. During the couple years, professionals and students worked together to construct a 40' tall windmill.
